Itinerary
1st Day: The isle of Aegina
Hotel pick up to Piraeus. Take the boat to the island of Aegina, the princess of the Saronic gulf –Coffee in one of the many Café of the port. Walk around the streets near the port and we visit the temple of Apollo and the archaeological museum–We visit the miraculus Agios Nektarios Monastery, the Church and the Palaia Chora hill with the numerous churches on it–Then we move towards the famous Temple of Aphaia Athena laid in a beautiful pine forest with a marvelous view to the Aegean Sea. We drive down to the coastal village of Agia Marina (Swim-Ouzo-Meze)-Later in the afternoon we make a semicircular round of the island and return to Aegina city –Dinner – Night out.

2nd Day: Aegina
We start with an early hike up to the mount Ellanion (1 hour- optional) to enjoy the wonderful view to Attica, the Aegean sea, the Peloponnese peninsula and the other Saronic islands. We walk down to Perdika- a nice coastal fish village to take the boat to Moni, the superb small island. -Swim in the clear crystal waters enjoying Ouzo + Meze in the company of the animals of the uninhabited island such as the Chamois Cretan goat- deer and peacocks – Return to Aegina city -Dinner-Greek music-Overnight
3rd Day: Angistri - Aponisos - Poros
We are leaving Aegina for the isle of Angistri with a hired small cruise boat. We are swimming, fishing and snorkeling in the small bays of the central Saronic gulf uninhabited small islands. At noon we barbeque by the sea or we have lunch in a fish-tavern. In the afternoon we sail towards the shores of the Peloponnese and drive to the picturesque island of Poros. We spend the night here.
4th Day: Hydra
Early departure for the cosmopolitan island of Hydra. Explore the vibrant life of the island. Walk the steep narrow paths of the historical town with this particular architecture. Swim in the lovely beaches of the island. Free day to enjoy at your own pace.
Overnight at Hydra (may change in high season) or Poros.
5th Day: Epidauros - Nauplio - Mycenae
Today we visit the archaeological site and the huge theatre (a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Monument), famous for its symmetry and beauty and admired for its exceptional acoustics , used again today for dramatic performances. We continue to a local winery near Argos city for wine tasting, walk through the vineyards and have a traditional lunch. Then we visit the archaeological site of Mycenae (another UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Monument), the famous center of the Mycenaean Civilization. The period of Greek history between 1600 BC until around 1100 BC. is called “Mycenaean”, referring to Mycenae Homer first reports the city describing it as “golden”. We admire the Gate of the Lions, the Royal Palace, the treasure of Atreus and the tomb Klytemnestra.
We make our way towards the picturesque town of Nafplio. We walk in the narrow streets of the town, the once capital of Greece-we step up the 999 steps of the Venetian castle of Palamidi.
Overnight in Nauplion
6th Day: Monemvasia - Elafonisos
Today we drive south to the eastern Peloponnese. On the road we will have a short stop in Sparta and have a photo with the statue of king Leonidas, the famous leader of the 300. After we head towards Monemvasia, the picturesque Byzantine fortress, lying for centuries on the slopes of the windswept rock. We explore the romantic city and enjoy its vibe at a majestic view cafe for a refreshing drink.
Next stop is the island of Elafonisos, the once maritime shelter of pirates and crusaders.
We enjoy the sunset and the evening sea. Overnight Elafonisos
7th Day: Elafonisos - Simos Beach

8th Day: Corinth Canal - Return to Athens
Back on the road, we will stop to admire the breathtaking Corinth Canal. After taking pictures we return to Athens and finish our tour!

Meeting and finishing point: Most of our tours -unless otherwise stated in the trip’s information section- start and end at Syntagma square in Athens. Tours commence at 08:00 on the starting date and finish between 21:00 and 22:00 on the finishing point. Please note: In case you leave Greece on the day the tour ends,it is advisable to book your return flight at least 3 hours after our scheduled return time. That will give you the tranquillity and ease of mind, avoiding any unfortunate events that could blemish you vacation.
When you book with us, please have in mind that our tours don’t include any accommodation before or after the tour. So we advise you to make any stay arrangements for the date the tour ends. In relation to your arrival date and your stay in a hotel in Athens or in another city for one or more days before or after the trips, please feel free to contact us and we shall arrange it at no cost.
With regard to your transfer to and from the airport, we are able to help, if you ask us about it. We can arrange a private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Athens and vice versa 24/7. Your private driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport, holding a placard with your name on it.
Regarding the issue of your air ticket you know that the sooner you buy it the more cheap it comes. You are most likely to find lower prices in your home country. But it is worth trying together.
